Another background character gets the spotlight, or creates
it in this case.
I should be thrilled, but I’m not. Like Pinkie in ‘Pinkie Spy’ seeing Photo Finish
annoying people for the entire short is not my idea of fun, but at least her “I
go!” line got a chuckle from me. And the
title card is easily the best one yet in these series of shorts with the title
framed in her glasses.
This one comes down mostly to that taste issue that I don’t
find people being annoying to others over an extended period an enjoyable thing
to watch and the good things like the well-designed title card and some of the
zany movements and dialogue don’t offset that enough.
